When i was a kid, Grease is one of the movie that often played by uncle in his VHS when he was young. He often imitate the dance and the singing with his friends in colege. Grease is a movie played by John Travolta and Olivia Newton John. It's a dance movie and back in the 70's and 80's this movie was a box office hits.This movie was directed by Randal Kleiser based on a musical by Jim Jacobs' and Warren Casey with the same title (Grease).
This movie tells a love story between two high school student named Danny Zuko (played by John Travolta) and Sandy Olsson(played by Olivia Newton John). They first meet on the summer holiday at the beach. When the summer end Sandy have to go back to australia so they said goodby to each other. By a twist of fate Sandy didn't return to Australia, not only that she also go to the same high school as Danny, this is where the story start.
For me, one of the main attraction in this movie is the dancing. Even today dancing is much much different than dancing back in the 80's it still fun to watch this movie.Yesterday, as i surf around youtube i found this old Grease clip when John Travolta and Olivia Newton John doing the dance that my uncle used to imitate.
